I highly recommend anyone to go to Rj Mexican Cuisine! Their so kind and can take care ofyou the way it should be. I went a couple of days ago the service was excellent. The managerwas so kind to make sure that everything was going good and that we were getting theattention we need. I also remember seeing large groups of ladies coming in and all the stafftaking good care of them. Everyone seem to be enjoying their dinner. The food was great andthe decor was pretty!Pros: Great serviceCons: none!Best Mexican Cuisine!
The margaritas were fab- no doubt about it. I had passion fruit and my husband had mango and both were delicious and alcoholic- just the way I like my margs! The food was delicious as well! Guacamole was fresh and fantastic, as was the "pollo a la parrilla cubierta con camarones y la cangrejo" - which was not only a mouthful to say, but a large portion of deliciousness. My husband of course opted for the extra healthy enchilada- which he loved. Our waiter was also very nice and quite hilarious. As a bonus our hotel (The Hyatt) gave us a gift certificate for a free appetizer! I'd def. check out RJ's again when in the area.
I am from Kansas City and recently visited Dallas. Even though we have a heavily populated Hispanic area with TONS of Mexican Restaurants, I have never encountered one such as this.I had the tamale plate and I thought it was very good. My beans were not the refried "baby poop" looking kind. They were actual whole beans in a kind of sauce that I really liked. It is very hard to find Mexican food that hasn't been so "Americanized" that it all tastes the same. The presentation of the food and the taste of it makes this restaurant, in my book, a great choice if you are in the area.
